I’ve spent 25 years running identity infrastructure: OpenLDAP, 389/RHDS, ODSEE, Active Directory, Keycloak, FreeIPA, and the PKI that holds it together, in environments from quantitative trading to healthcare to federal energy. The through-line is authentication that does not go down: 39 consecutive months of zero downtime at one client, 25 months and counting at another.

Through Rex Consulting, I take on a small number of engagements:

• Directory architecture, migration, and rescue.
• Security reviews of identity infrastructure: mTLS, credential elimination, least-privilege access.
• Training for teams inheriting a directory they didn’t build.
